Sonshine Learning Academy features a beautiful area including access to the nature paths just down the way, an accessible soccer field & vast grassy areas, a large playground, and also features outdoor classroom opportunities, such as outdoor art, basketball and bikes, science, dramatic play, and music. Our vast indoor space also includes a basketball area, library, multi-surface Legoland, village complete with track, and realistic grocery store!

Our teachers are trained in early childhood processes, techniques, and methods to truly enhance brain development, growth, and learning activities according to research and evidence based practices:

*S.M.A.R.T. curriculum program

*occupational and environmental teaching, classroom management, and regulation strategies

* alignment with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards for children ages 0-6, in addition to the state teaching standards for 4K

*the CSEFEL Pyramid Model (as one of a few state of Wisconsin, child care, center-wide Implementation Sites)

*the state of Wisconsin Youngstar program/guidelines

*Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scales

All of these strategies work together to provide the highest quality, research-based, academic, social, and emotional environment for your child. Assessments and scheduled main curriculum are the same across the New Richmond School District 4K sites
