Sonshine Learning Academy features a beautiful area including access to the nature paths just down the way, an accessible soccer field & vast grassy areas, a large playground, and also features outdoor classroom opportunities, such as outdoor art, basketball and bikes, science, dramatic play, and music. Our vast indoor space also includes a basketball area, library, multi-surface Legoland, village complete with track, and realistic grocery store!
Our teachers are trained in early childhood processes, techniques, and methods to truly enhance brain development, growth, and learning activities according to research and evidence based practices:

*occupational and environmental teaching, classroom management, and regulation strategies
* alignment with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards for children ages 0-6, in addition to the state teaching standards for 4K
*the Pyramid Model (as one of a few state of Wisconsin, child care, center-wide Implementation Sites)

Our buildings have been recognized by the state as champions of these practices, as only 30 other schools, university preschools, or child care centers have achieved! It’s incredible work by team and family systems!

We are also proud to be among only 50 other locations in the entire state providing practiced based coaching to our team! Coaching strengthens our team, teaching skills, and overall impact for students!
